ACTIVE PASSIVE

Change the verbs in the following sentences from active to passive voice:
Example 1: (Active Voice): Mario leaves the school bag.-(verb is in the present tense)
(Passive Voice): The school bag is left by Mario. – (“is” because school bag is singular)

Example2: (Active): Selya reported the incident. –(reported is past tense)

SHARING BLOGS

I.Objectives:At the end of this net surfing, the students are expected to:

3. Test oneself with the ability to identify idiomatic expressions.
4. Express feelings to someone with tactfulness and in the nice way.

IV. Procedure
A. Before Lesson Proper
1. Review:
What was our lesson before the semestral break? Hmm...it seems that you have forgotten. Okay, take a tour here and answer the given exercises. Reminder: Answer first the given items before looking at the key answers, Okay? Honesty is the best policy!
2. Backrounder:
I have a very close friend, who stayed a bachelor until this time because he belongs to the "BS" (Bugnaw ug Simud) family. I also know another person who easily quits one job to another because she cant express what she wants to her boss and co workers.

3. Motivation:
Guys, do you want the same thing to happen to you or you want to know how to express your real feelings to someone without getting "baduy"? Here are some tips and effective way to do it.

B. Lesson Proper:
Click here, then proceed to Idioms Quiz and answer Idioms Quiz (Body8) and Idioms Quiz (Food3)

It's better if you will read and study all the idiomatic expressions so you will have a very good background when you write a letter, listen to someone or talk to somebody using idioms.

C. Post Lesson:
Choose a partner, preferably the one who sits closer to you. Form a dialoque using idiomatic expressions and you will see the fun it will bring you.Take the dialogue as your guide sample.

V. Evaluation/Assignment:
Write an encoded letter to someone whom you had wished to send a letter for a long time using wonderful and heart warming choice of idioms.

prior knowledge that will help them remember the words.
3. Point out the key characters or synonymous/antonyms to the word.
4. Identify examples from real life or from the actual reading.

Activities:
1. Read only one chapter of the selection "The Scarlet Letter". Go to this page
2. Please click here and unlock the unfamiliar term you encountered in the selection.
3. To maximize your understanding of the meaning of the unfamiliar word,
get its synonym or antonym and visit this site to help you out.
4. Connect to G and search for images/illustration/picture that will match or enhance
the meaning of the said word.
5. Do the same thing with the rest of the unfamiliar words.(Dont try to define every
word; instead focus on to 3 to 10 words.)

Analysis: 1. Answer the vocabulary test in this site .

Abstraction: 1. Summarize the easiest and effective steps to retain the meaning of the new
